CRANE LAKE WILDERNESS LODGING

CENTRALLY LOCATED  and the Gateway to Yoyageures National Park, the only water access National park, minitues to BWCA the most pristine wilderness interconnected lakes, and the Quentico Wilderness water park in Ontario Canada.

FISHING  is outstanding with Lake Trout, Walleye, Northern Pike, Bass, Crappie, yellow perch.  The varity is out done by the amount of lakes you can fish and explore.  You can go for miles in a boat or snowmobile on an adventure your party will always rememeber.

SCENIC EXPLORING with super views of the rock outcropping and large white pines. Bald eagles perch at tops looking for their fish lunch. Spruce grouse cross your path as you hike the surrounding cliffs for the great views.  Must sees are the Vermillion River Gourge as the river waterfalls into Crane Lake.  Take a short boat ride through King Williams Narrows to Sand Point Lake and see the pictograph's  of the early inhabitants

WATER PLAY with tubing and swimming the water is super clean.  Try you luck at waterskiing  with ski set provided.  A canoe and kayak is also on site to use at you leasure for added sight seeing fun.  Swim off the dock or shore or take a few minute boat ride to the north side of the  lake entering Voyageures National Park and swim the hugh sand beaches.

SNOWMOBILING in the north country is unbelivable with almost always heavy snowfalls. The major Crane Lake Voyageures National Park trail head is 2 miles away on shore and the trail goes past Crane Lake Wilderness Lodge. In the winter their usually is an ice road to the cabins, you can park in front on the cleared lake parking.  The trails are endless and you can explore a different route each day.

BIRDING, BLUEBERRY PICKING,MUSHROOMING are all fantastic on your remote wilderness location. Variety of species that come in at different times of the season make for all time's fun

 HUNTING  in the fall is super.  If you never hunted ducks, geese, or grouse in the north country it is an experience to remember.  Rest  in comfort when you return from your adventures.  If need guides that can be arranged.
